About Us:

For over a year and a half, The Career Resources Network (CRN) has been hosting bi-weekly events that are attended by 35 business professionals and executive level new Career Seekers.  Founded by Doug Goodrum in 2011, CRN’s Executive Director and resident sales professional, CRN’s mission is to foster an empowering environment with result-oriented networking opportunities for career seekers as well as those seeking to advance their current careers.

Gathering the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month, morning meetings feature dynamic and results oriented networking time as well as presentations by some of Portland’s most notable business consultants and advisors who cover a myriad of career-enhancing topics, from interviewing and interpersonal skills to social media and how to read a job description between the lines.  Participants also have an opportunity to introduce themselves with their “elevator” pitch and have one on one Professional Networking time both before and after the set Agenda.

“Our goal is to have our participants build results-oriented business relationships as well as hone their career seeking/career changing skills.  This has been a challenging job market and we believe everyone can benefit from the personal growth we offer, whether in a current career or searching for the next great one!” – Goodrum.

In the short time the CRN has been a part of the community, it has helped over 430 attendees, and many Human Resources professionals have taken notice:

“Barde Career Solutions is proud to be involved with the CRN.  The group is extremely organized and professional, geared toward helping career professionals connect and reconnect to the job market successfully,” – Barbara Barde, owner of Barde Career Solutions.

Career Resources Network meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month (7:30 – 9:30am) in a well-appointed meeting room at:  DeVry University / 9755 SW Barnes Road / Portland, OR.  97225  Attendees arrive sharply at 7:30am for Networking, and the set agenda begins promptly at 8:00am.  Admission at this time is free, although participants are welcome to voluntarily cash contribute what they can toward incidental expenses and the financial growth of the Career Resources Network, enabling us to continue advancing the careers of attendees.

:: Options verses Cobra Health Coverage Insurance
There are very few situations where you would want to continue paying the high cost of Cobra Health Insurance.

Individual Coverage is always less cost, and if you are self employed, Small Group coverage is available.

STM, Short Term Medical is the perfect option for Low Cost and Affordable coverage when between jobs, or financial situations prevent regular health coverage options.

I'm always available to talk with you, or reply via email on options that would benefit you, and there is "No Cost, or Obligation" for my time or services.

Give me the opportunity to help, it can't hurt..................
